Ineos Grenadiers partner with Adidas in multi-year deal ahead of Tour de France

Ineos Grenadiers have unveiled a new off-bike clothing partnership with Adidas, marking a notable shift in the team’s visual identity ahead of the 2025 Tour de France. The deal will see riders and staff across the WorldTour squad wearing Adidas apparel and footwear off the bike, with a full team-branded range set for release in 2026.

While Gobik continues to supply the race kit and Kask remains the helmet provider, the partnership with Adidas introduces one of the world’s most recognisable sportswear brands to the team’s day-to-day clothing. The move also signals the gradual phasing out of Belstaff branding, which previously featured across off-bike jackets and coats and is owned by Ineos itself.

Team CEO John Allert described the partnership as a “multi-year” commitment and “another big step forward” for the British squad. “We are incredibly proud to be announcing this multi-year partnership with one of the world’s most iconic sports brands,” he said. “Adidas has a long-standing and successful history of supporting cycling both in the UK and globally, and we are all excited for what we can achieve together over the coming years.”

Adidas previously featured in the pro peloton through high-profile associations with teams like US Postal and T-Mobile in the early 2000s. Their return comes in a year where Visma-Lease a Bike and FDJ-Suez have also signed off-bike clothing deals with Nike, giving hints of a broader shift in cycling’s commercial landscape as major sportswear giants renew their interest in the sport.

For 2025, Ineos Grenadiers riders, including Filippo Ganna, Geraint Thomas, and Carlos Rodríguez, will wear a selection of Adidas performance t-shirts, hoodies, long-sleeved jerseys, jackets, caps and footwear away from the race. A full fan-facing range will follow in 2026.

“Adidas’ drive for excellence, innovation and performance-focused design will support everyone in the team, from the athletes to the mechanics, to do their job in comfort and style in every environment and climate,” said Allert.

The announcement comes shortly after the team confirmed a separate commercial partnership with TotalEnergies, whose branding will feature on the kit during the Tour de France.
