Pashley has unveiled the new Skyline Mini Velo, a stylish, small-wheeled bicycle that blends the brand’s century of British craftsmanship with global inspiration. Drawing cues from the compact, urban rides popular in cities like Tokyo, New York and Amsterdam, the Skyline is designed to capture the energy and individuality of Mini Velo culture. It’s a bike that promises versatility, durability and joy – whether you’re cutting through weekday traffic or cruising between cafés at the weekend.

Pashley Skyline Mini Velo

Hand-built British steel meets urban versatility

Every Skyline is handmade in the UK using a mix of Reynolds 725, 631 and 525 double-butted steel tubing, delivering a balance of lightweight responsiveness and long-lasting strength. The compact 20” wheels allow for sharp, confident handling across city streets, parks and light gravel, while the geometry ensures a stable and comfortable ride. Multiple mounting points for racks, bottle cages, mudguards and frame bags make it an adaptable companion for commuting or adventure rides beyond the city limits.

“The Skyline Mini Velo will let you (re)discover the joy of cycling, whilst fitting in with your lifestyle and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face,” said Andy Smallwood, CEO of Pashley. “For some it will be the N+1, for everyone else it will be the only one.”

Designed to adapt and inspire creativity

Versatility sits at the heart of the Skyline’s design philosophy. Lead designer Jon Cumperbatch explains that the frameset allows for different drivetrain options including hub gears, single speed or derailleur, as well as changeable dropout standards and routing for internal cables. Riders can choose from flat, riser or drop handlebars to match their preference, while tyre clearance up to 2.3 inches opens the door to everything from slick urban rubber to knobbly off-road tyres.

“The front-end geometry has been designed to mimic a larger wheeled bike for familiarity and predictable handling,” says Cumperbatch. “It’s a highly adaptable platform for unique builds that show the rider’s personality.”

Built to last, designed to delight

Each frame undergoes protective e-coating and tough powder coating for extra durability, and is paired with disc brakes for confident stopping power even when loaded up. As Luke Hemming, a member of the Pashley family and mechanic, put it: “This is why I love my job – seeing the Skyline come together from steel tubes to finished bike. I’d give mine the full café racer treatment and call it Rudy.”

Three builds, three personalities

The Skyline Mini Velo comes in three complete builds, each available in three sizes (S, M, L) and three distinct colourways:
