From Lorena Wiebes’ dominant sprint victory in 2022 to Pfeiffer Georgi’s smart tactical win in 2023, the event has consistently showcased both the sport’s brightest stars and its emerging talents. The pattern continued in 2024, when Cat Ferguson announced herself with a breakout win for Movistar, outpacing Christina Schweinberger and Anniina Ahtosalo after a tense finale.
