AG Insurance – Soudal reveal bold new Mauritian champion’s jersey for Kim Le Court

Kim Le Court Mauritius National Champion Jersey 2026

AG Insurance – Soudal have unveiled a redesigned national champion’s jersey for Kim Le Court, reworking the Mauritian road race colours into a striking new look ahead of the upcoming season. Developed in close collaboration with Castelli, the updated design gives the Mauritian flag a far more prominent presence, ensuring instant recognition in the peloton.

A jersey that matches Le Court’s growing status

The redesign follows a breakthrough period for Le Court, whose 2025 season firmly established her as one of the most visible and consistent riders in the Women’s WorldTour. Frequently animating races at the front, she was at times mistaken for the world champion, a reflection of both her results and her growing authority within the peloton.

With that in mind, AG Insurance – Soudal opted to move away from a more traditional national champion treatment. Instead, the Mauritian flag now flows across the entire jersey, creating a dynamic and unmistakable silhouette that still sits comfortably within the team’s broader visual identity.

National colours, fully reimagined

The new design places Mauritius front and centre. Rather than subtle detailing, the flag’s colours form the backbone of the jersey, delivering a bold statement without compromising performance or cohesion with the rest of the kit range.

For Le Court, the change carries personal significance. “Wearing the national champion jersey is always special, but this design makes it even more meaningful,” she said. “Seeing the Mauritian flag across the whole jersey makes me feel incredibly proud. It represents where I come from and motivates me every time I pin on a number.”

Recognition beyond results

Team manager Jolien D’Hoore emphasised that the redesign goes beyond aesthetics alone. “Kim had an outstanding season and earned her place among the strongest riders in the peloton,” she explained. “National champion jerseys are powerful symbols, and this design celebrates both Kim’s personal journey and the diversity within our team.”

Working with Castelli allowed the team to translate that ambition into a modern, high-impact jersey that reflects both identity and performance at the highest level.

A champion carrying history

Le Court’s career trajectory makes the jersey particularly symbolic. A four-time Mauritian road race national champion and two-time time trial champion, she has also rewritten history on the biggest stage. In 2025, she became the first African rider to wear the yellow jersey at the Tour de France Femmes and the first to win a stage, taking victory on stage 5.

Her palmarès also includes Liège-Bastogne-Liège Femmes in 2025, and a Giro d’Italia Women stage win in 2024, underlining her evolution from opportunity-seeker to established leader since joining AG Insurance – Soudal.

As the new season approaches, Le Court will line up in a jersey that does more than mark her as national champion. It tells a story of identity, progress, and a rider whose presence in the peloton is now impossible to miss.
