Kristabel Doebel-Hickok (Retired)
Kristabel Doebel-Hickok is a retired American cyclist who specialised in climbing and demanding stage races during a professional career spanning more than a decade. A former collegiate distance runner, she took up cycling after university and progressed rapidly into the professional peloton. Doebel-Hickok produced her strongest season in 2022, winning the Tour Féminin International des Pyrénées overall and two individual stages, while also taking a mountain-top victory at the Tour of the Gila. She completed her final professional season with Human Powered Health in 2024.

Career overview
Doebel-Hickok came to cycling after competing in cross-country and track running at Vanderbilt University. She turned professional with TIBCO and developed into a specialist climber, later racing for Cylance, Rally Cycling, EF Education-TIBCO-SVB and Human Powered Health. Her breakthrough results included stage victories in mountainous races before a career-best 2022 season. She won the opening mountain stage of the Tour of the Gila and later dominated the Tour Féminin International des Pyrénées, taking two stages, the overall classification, points jersey and mountains classification. That year she also finished 15th overall at the Giro d’Italia Women and completed the Tour de France Femmes. Doebel-Hickok raced her final professional season with Human Powered Health in 2024 before retiring.
