Elisabeth Ebras departs Hess Cycling Team to join BePink-Imatra-Bongioanni

Elisabeth Ebras BePink 2025

Estonian sprinter Elisabeth Ebras has left the Hess Cycling Team midway through the 2025 season to sign with BePink-Imatra-Bongioanni, becoming the latest rider to exit the troubled setup.

Originally due to race the season with Hess, Ebras now joins the Italian Continental squad in search of a more stable platform after a disrupted start to the year. Although the 20-year-oldโ€™s debut date for BePink is yet to be confirmed, she will not line up at this weekendโ€™s Volta NXT Classic or Tour of Flanders.

The move comes amid ongoing instability at Hess Cycling, who were registered as a UCI team three months later than scheduled, only making their season debut this week at Dwars Door Vlaandren. Several riders have already left the team, including Natalie Quinn (now with Cynisca), Laura Lisette Sander (Coop-Repsol) and Esther Wong (Torelli). Ebras now adds her name to that growing list.

โ€œUnfortunately, the start of the season didn’t go as I would have liked and I’m very happy to have the opportunity to join BePink-Imatra-Bongioanni,โ€ said Ebras. โ€œI hope to be able to make the most of this experience and live it to the fullest. My goal is to try to get good results and grow as a rider.โ€

Team Manager Walter Zini welcomed the addition, noting her proven potential despite the seasonโ€™s rocky beginning:
โ€œWe are happy to welcome Elisabeth to the team. She is a very young girl, who has already shown good things in the past years and we believe she can be an added value for our team.โ€

A fast finisher with a solid all-round profile, Ebras has already made a mark in 2024 with 2nd at the Poreฤ Trophy Ladies, 5th at the Umag Trophy Ladies, and 6th overall at the Festival Elsy Jacobs. Last season, she won the Estonian U23 national road title and stood out for her strength in selective races as well as in the bunch sprints.
