Eva van Agt will leave Visma | Lease a Bike at the end of the season to join FDJ-SUEZ on a two-year deal, strengthening the French squad’s roster for 2026 and beyond.

The 28-year-old Dutch rider has become a dependable presence in the WorldTour peloton since her breakthrough with Le Col-Wahoo in 2022, the same summer she made both her professional debut and first Tour de France Femmes appearance. Visma | Lease a Bike moved quickly to sign her, and she has spent the past three seasons as part of their core line-up, most recently riding in support of Pauline Ferrand-Prévot during this year’s Tour de France Femmes.

Van Agt brings a strong record of consistency rather than headline victories. She was 2nd on stage 3 of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya earlier this year and finished 4th overall at the Tour of Norway, where she also took 6th on the opening stage. Other highlights of 2025 include 5th at the Festival Elsy Jacobs à Garnich and 7th on the opening day in Catalunya, results that underline her ability to perform across varied terrain.

Her move to FDJ-SUEZ continues the team’s policy of assembling one of the strongest stage race squads in the women’s peloton, with Demi Vollering at its heart. She will join a growing Dutch contingent that already includes Loes Adegeest, Nina Buijsman and Lauren Molengraaf, echoing Amber Kraak’s switch to the team two years ago.

“I know I will find a harmonious and supportive environment at FDJ-SUEZ,” Van Agt said as the transfer was confirmed. “These races often suit me, and I look forward to continuing my development here. I am highly motivated to help the team achieve its goals over the next two years.”

General manager Stephen Delcourt described Van Agt as “the kind of rider every team dreams of,” praising her loyalty, generosity and combative style. For FDJ-SUEZ, the signing not only strengthens the support structure around Vollering but also brings valuable knowledge from one of their main rivals.

Van Agt is still chasing her first professional victory, but her consistency and selfless riding have made her a valuable teammate. With FDJ-SUEZ, she enters her prime years in a set-up designed to compete for the sport’s biggest prizes, not least the Tour de France Femmes.
