Fahlin, Coljé, and Mahé commit to another season with Arkéa-B&B Hotels

Emilia Fahlin

Emilia Fahlin, Maaike Coljé, and Océane Mahé have all extended their contracts with Arkéa-B&B Hotels, committing to another season with the French outfit that has been developing a solid reputation in the women’s peloton. General Manager Emmanuel Hubert praised each rider for their distinctive contributions to the team, highlighting the value they bring both on and off the bike.

Emilia Fahlin, a stalwart in the professional peloton and Arkéa-B&B Hotels’ road captain, expressed her enthusiasm for another year with the team. She shared her thoughts on the team’s growth, saying, “I am enthusiastic and happy to stay another year within the Arkéa-B&B Hotels team. This training has settled into a stable and solid project, which remains ambitious with a real desire to build and grow regularly.” Fahlin was instrumental in several stages of the Tour de France Femmes this season, which she described as “full of great promise.” Now, she’s looking ahead to building on that success. “I am convinced that we can achieve even greater things in 2025!” she added.

Coljé, who joined Arkéa-B&B Hotels in early 2023 after two seasons with the Massi-Tactic Women Team, also shared her enthusiasm for staying on with the team. Known for her supportive role in races, Maaike Coljé reflected on the sense of unity within the team. “I feel that we are all progressing in our approach to races, tactically, but also physically,” she said, noting that she feels like part of a family. “We race together as a team… and I am also learning French with the team. After three years, I hope to be ready to speak your language—that is also my goal.”

Hubert acknowledged Coljé’s valuable role within the squad, citing her dedication and selflessness. Over the past two seasons, the 27-year-old Dutchwoman has proven her commitment in key races, including the Tour de France Femmes, where her breakaway efforts earned her recognition as a reliable team player.

Ocean Mahe (Arkea)

For Mahé, France’s U23 time trial champion, the contract renewal marks a promising step in her budding professional career. At 22, Mahé has already demonstrated her potential in time trials and has swiftly adapted to the demands of the professional ranks. She reflected on the supportive environment at Arkéa-B&B Hotels, saying, “I feel good in this team. I quickly found my feet, both with my team-mates and with the staff. I’m very satisfied with my first season in the professional ranks.” Mahé credited her rapid development to the guidance of her more experienced teammates and the coaching staff, who have been instrumental in refining her tactics and physical strength.

Hubert, recognising Mahé as a “great hope for French cycling,” said that the young rider’s debut year has showcased her promise, particularly in time trials. Mahé’s time-trialling abilities have shone through, securing her Espoirs title and placing her as one to watch in the coming season.
