Laboral Kutxa-Fundacion Euskadi have revealed their 2026 race jersey, presenting it not simply as a redesign but as a statement of identity. The Basque team describe the new kit as a “new skin”, one that reflects where the team comes from, who inspires it, and how it understands cycling as both sport and expression.
According to the team, every symbol and colour used in the 2026 jersey is rooted in Basque culture and collective memory. It is framed as a tribute to the land, its icons and the people who represent them, with the design intended to reflect both heritage and the values that guide the project day to day. Laboral Kutxa emphasise that this is a jersey meant to be felt as much as worn, carrying emotional weight alongside performance function.

A recurring theme in the team’s own messaging is collectivity. Laboral Kutxa speak of a season in which they do not move forward alone, but together – riders, staff, supporters and the wider community. The concept of “matriarchs” is central to the narrative, used to describe women who lead by example and show others the paths to follow. In that sense, the jersey is positioned as a visual symbol of continuity and shared responsibility rather than individual ambition.
The launch of the new kit also coincides with a period of transition within the squad ahead of 2026. Several new riders arrive from a mix of development structures and WorldTour environments, reinforcing the team’s long-standing role as a bridge between grassroots racing and the highest level. Irati Aranguren steps up from Andoaingo TX. Eskola, while Sara Fiorin joins from Ceratizit Pro Cycling Team. Tiril Jørgensen arrives after racing with Team Coop-Repsol, Paula Patiño makes the move from Movistar Team, and Marjolein van ’t Geloof strengthens the roster after her time with ARKEA-B&B HOTELS.
Departures include Laura Tomasi, who moves on to Uno-X Mobility, while the futures of Ane Santesteban, Alba Teruel and Eneritz Vadillo remain unresolved with their contracts expiring.
Taken together, the jersey launch and roster changes underline Laboral Kutxa’s intention to remain deeply anchored in its identity while continuing to evolve competitively. The team’s message is clear: progress does not mean leaving roots behind, but carrying them forward, visibly and deliberately, into a new season.
