Owain Doull set to join Visma | Lease a Bike in 2026

According to Wielerflits, Owain Doull will join Visma | Lease a Bike next season, with the move confirmed by multiple sources, except the team itself for now. The 32-year-old Brit will make the switch from EF Education-EasyPost, bringing a wealth of experience in the Classics and Grand Tours.

Doull first turned professional with Team Sky in 2017 after a stagiaire period the year before, remaining with the squad through its transition to INEOS Grenadiers before moving to EF in 2022. While victories have been rare, he has two stage wins on his palmarรจs, the 2019 Herald Sun Tour and the 2020 Tour de la Provence, and has built his career on reliable work in support roles.

He has lined up for five Grand Tours, riding the Giro and Vuelta twice each, and making his Tour de France debut in 2022. Alongside that, he has been a consistent figure in the Spring Classics, particularly at Flanders, Roubaix and the cobbled semi-Classics.

His strongest result came with second place at Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne in 2019, outsprinting the bunch behind solo winner Bob Jungels. More recently, he finished 29th at the Tour of Flanders in 2024.

For Visma | Lease a Bike, Doullโ€™s signing brings depth and valuable knowledge of the northern Classics, as well as experience guiding leaders in one-day and stage races. The team has consistently invested in riders who combine reliability with tactical awareness, and Doull fits that mould as he prepares for a new chapter in his career.
