St Michel-Preference Home-Auber93 has confirmed a significant step in its long-term growth plan, announcing that Premier Tech will join the organisation as a main sponsor for the next two seasons. The Canadian company, led by Jean Bélanger, will support both the men’s and women’s professional squads, as well as the wider club structure, from 2026.

The announcement marks one of the most important commercial developments in the team’s modern history and aligns closely with its ambition to strengthen its international presence while continuing to develop talent at all levels.

Deputy general manager Charlie Nerzic welcomed the partnership, describing it as a natural fit between two organisations that share a vision for cycling’s future.

“Partnering with Premier Tech marks a milestone for our team. Like us, the global Canadian company led by Jean Bélanger is committed to developing cycling in all its forms. We share a common vision, an inclusive, integrated cycling ecosystem driven by talent diversity. We are pleased to welcome Premier Tech and pursue this shared ambition,” Nerzic said.

Strong Canadian connection at the heart of the deal

The collaboration will see three Canadian riders join the women’s team in 2026, with Alison Jackson, Simone Boilard and Clara Emond set to add significant experience and depth to the roster. Premier Tech has a long-standing reputation for supporting Canadian cycling and sees the partnership as a continuation of its mission.

“This opportunity fully aligns with the reasons why Premier Tech has been committed to cycling for over 30 years, building bridges across all levels of the sport and supporting the development of Quebec and Canadian cyclists,” Bélanger said.

Premier Tech branding will appear on the jerseys of the men’s and women’s professional teams and across all club categories. Despite the addition of a major new backer, the team will retain its existing name in 2026.

A team with deep roots and a modern outlook

St Michel-Preference Home-Auber93, originally founded in 1994 as Aubervilliers 93-Peugeot, has one of the longest-running developmental pathways in French cycling. Its men’s team rode the Tour de France five times between 1996 and 2001, while the women’s programme, established in 2012 and professional since 2021, has raced the Tour de France Femmes.

Across its three decades, the team has been known for nurturing talent, building community links and championing equality by running men’s and women’s squads as a single integrated project.

The arrival of Premier Tech signals a new period of stability and investment as the team enters the next phase of its development, both within France and internationally.
