It’s almost time to race again. A part of the team stayed in Belgium the last few weeks for a couple of races and now they are facing their first World Tour race, the Oxyclean Classic Brugge-de Panne. Previously known as Driedaagse de Panne.
At 12:55 the peloton will leave Brugge for a race over 158.8 kilometres. One of the longest races this season. The race will be broadcast from 15:15 CET on both Sporza and Eurosport.
Our line-up for the Oxyclean Classic Brugge-de Panne includes Elena Cecchini, Jolien D’hoore, Roxane Fournier, Christine Majerus, Amy Pieters and Lonneke Uneken.
D’hoore won the 2018 edition but get disqualified in last year’s edition after crossing the finish line first. With Majerus on a 3rd place in 2018, the team will bring some experience and a winning mood to Brugge!
“This year I’m extra motivated to race. I want to keep a good memory after my DQ last year and that’s why I’m extra motivated for tomorrow. The team spirit is really good, we have a lot of fun and you can see it in the results. It’s definitely going to be a hard race due to the wind, so I hope for some echelon fun and a small bunch sprint.” says D’hoore.
