In the Czech Republic Tereza Neumanova was the defending champion. In a hard race she managed to retain her title.

A reigning champion there was some pressure on the shoulders of Neumanova before the start of the Czech championships. The Liv Racing Xstra rider aimed for a third title, but knew it wasn`t get easy. Also the weather conditions and the course weren`t easy as it was raining and there was 5.5 km long climb in every lap. Neumanova controlled the whole race and finished it off after a strong sprint.

“The pace was really high from the start, so it became a really hard race. Also the long climb and two short climbs in every lap made it really hard. It was an active race, but it was different to race without a team. I had to control everything myself now, but I am happy that it worked out fine and I can wear the beautiful jersey for another year. Now I will enjoy a little rest before the Giro is on my schedule”, Neumanova talked about the race.
