European and Belgian champion Thibau Nys has confirmed his full cyclo-cross calendar for the 2025-26 season. The Baloise Glowi Lions rider is set to race 22 times this winter, with his programme built around the key series, championships and World Cup rounds.

Nys will open his campaign on 1 November at the Koppenbergcross in Oudenaarde, one of the most iconic races on the calendar, before lining up the following day in Lokeren for another X²O Trofee round. A week later, he will defend his European title at the European Championships in Middelkerke.

The 22-year-old will then take on a busy mix of Belgian and international fixtures, competing across all the major series: the UCI World Cup, Superprestige and X²O Trofee. His schedule includes World Cup rounds in Tabor, Flamanville, Namur, Antwerp, Gavere, Dendermonde, Zonhoven and Benidorm, along with several domestic events.

The traditional end-of-year block will see Nys race almost daily through the festive period, including Hofstade, Heusden-Zolder, Loenhout and Diegem. On 11 January, he will defend his Belgian national title in Beringen, before heading into the final World Cup races in Maasmechelen and Hoogerheide.

The season will culminate on 1 February with the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Hulst, the major target of Nys’ winter campaign. After a strong summer on the road, he will aim to peak once more in pursuit of the rainbow jersey.

With 22 races on his calendar, Nys has opted for a balanced programme that allows for recovery periods between key objectives. Following a breakthrough 2024-25 season in which he claimed both the European and Belgian titles, the Belgian star will once again be among the leading contenders in the upcoming cyclo-cross season.
