Tiffany Cromwell will continue her long association with Canyon SRAM zondacrypto into 2026, extending a partnership that has become one of the longest-running rider–team relationships in the modern women’s peloton. The Australian, now a key figure across both road and gravel racing, is the final rider confirmed for the team’s 16-strong WorldTour roster for next season.
For Cromwell, the decision marks more than just another year in the professional ranks. She is the last remaining rider from the team’s original 2016 line-up, making her extension a symbolic continuation of the squad’s identity as much as a practical boost to its depth.
Speaking after the announcement, Cromwell said she felt a sense of belonging that has only strengthened over the years. “It’s great to continue with the team and have that belief behind me. This has become home for me in cycling. I’ve always felt supported here, especially through the ups and downs, and that’s played a huge part in staying motivated.”

A decade of influence
Team manager Ronny Lauke underlined just how central Cromwell has become to the organisation. He pointed to her leadership, race craft and ability to steady the team through pressure moments. “Tiffany has been fundamental to our growth,” he said. “She sets standards with her professionalism, and her experience is invaluable for our younger riders. She also plays a big role behind the scenes, giving feedback that has shaped product development with our partners. Having her with us for another year is hugely important.”
Cromwell’s role has evolved in recent seasons as she has balanced WorldTour road duties with a consistently expanding gravel calendar. Since taking her first steps into gravel in 2019, she has become one of the discipline’s most recognisable racers. Her 2025 campaign highlighted that dual focus: she returned from injury by winning the Australian Gravel Championships before taking on a high-profile block that included UNBOUND Gravel and the UCI Gravel World Championships.
On the road, she formed part of several of the team’s standout results this year. Cromwell supported Antonia Niedermaier’s white jersey win at the Giro d’Italia Women, Chiara Consonni’s double stage victory and overall triumph at the Tour de Pologne Women, and the team’s success at the Maryland Cycling Classic with Agnieszka Skalniak-Sójka. It’s a pattern that has followed her throughout her time with the squad: Cromwell is often the steady presence in the background of many of Canyon SRAM zondacrypto’s biggest moments.

Leadership, legacy and motivation
Cromwell emphasised that her priorities now go beyond chasing personal results. “My main role is about leadership and helping younger riders find their feet,” she explained. “If I can pass on what I’ve learnt and create a calm environment in key moments, then that’s something I’m really proud of.”
Still, she has clear objectives for 2026. After crashing out of Sanremo Women earlier this year, that race is firmly marked for a return. She also hopes to be in contention for the Tour de France Femmes Avec Zwift squad, especially with the race set to finish in Nice — a place she knows well. But the major long-term target is the UCI Gravel World Championships on home soil in Australia, where she previously won twice on a similar course.
“That’s a huge motivation,” she said. “The depth will be bigger than ever, but it’s one of the reasons I want to keep pushing.”
