As the men’s Tour de France progresses, the excitement for the Tour de France Femmes (26th July – 3rd August) is already building, and VolkerWessels has taken a major step by becoming the first team to announce its line-up for the prestigious race. This early announcement highlights the team’s preparedness and sets the stage for what will undoubtedly be a thrilling edition of the race.

Although VolkerWessels does not have a standout contender for the overall podium, they have a squad full of riders in solid form, ready to contest stage wins and strong finishes. Eline Jansen has been particularly impressive, securing top results in the Ronde van Catalonië and the Tour Féminin International des Pyrénées. In the latter, she placed second on the opening stage, just ahead of her Belgian teammate Margot Vanpachtenbeke, who will also be a key asset for the team.

Completing the squad are Valerie Demey, Maud Rijnbeek, Laura Molenaar, the aggressive Anneke Dijkstra, and seasoned veteran Lonneke Uneken. Each rider brings unique strengths, and together, they’ll be targeting strong performances across the nine-day race. By becoming the first team to announce their roster, VolkerWessels has signalled its intent to make an early impression at the 2025 Tour de France Femmes.
