Vittoria Guazzini has committed her future to FDJ-SUEZ, signing a new contract extension that will keep her with the French squad until the end of the 2028 season. The 24-year-old continues to establish herself as a cornerstone of the team across both road and track disciplines.

Already a proven force in time trials, Guazzini was crowned U23 European champion in 2021 and followed up with the world title in 2022. She added gold at the Mediterranean Games in the same year and has carried that form into 2024. Her win at Le Samyn des Dames, along with the Italian national time trial title and victory on the opening stage of the Tour Féminin International des Pyrénées, confirmed her development into a rider who can win across a range of terrain.

In 2025, Guazzini’s best result so far is 7th at Dwars door Vlaanderen, a race where she seized the chance to ride for herself amid a spring campaign largely spent in service of others. The Italian has been working tirelessly for her team leaders throughout the classics season, often sacrificing her own chances to support FDJ-SUEZ’s tactical goals.

Her versatility was again on display in Paris, where she took Olympic gold in the Madison alongside Chiara Consonni. That came two years after helping Italy to the team pursuit world title, underlining her value on the track as well.

“Vittoria is one of the best time triallists in the world, one of the most consistent on the classics, and one of the best teammates a leader could ask for. Her dedication and loyalty made this extension a natural step,” said team manager Stephen Delcourt. “We’re excited to keep building towards even more ambitious goals.”

Guazzini echoed that sentiment, describing the team environment as central to her progression. “Every day in this team I learn and grow, surrounded by passionate teammates and staff. We’ve already achieved great things together, and I’m determined to contribute even more to our collective success in the seasons ahead.”

With her future now secured through 2028, Guazzini has the stability to target further success in her speciality discipline — and will remain a key asset in FDJ-SUEZ’s ambitions on both the road and the track.
