Career overview
Gaß built a long career across road and track, returning to competition after an earlier spell away from racing. On the road, she finished 4th in the German national road race in 2011 and later became a consistent presence in Belgian and northern European one-day races. Her best international results included 4th at Omloop van het Hageland in 2013, 2nd overall at the 2018 Panorama Guizhou International Women’s Road Cycling Race and 2nd at Le Samyn des Dames in 2019. On the track, Gaß also earned German championship medals in sprint, keirin, scratch and team sprint events, showing her range across endurance and speed disciplines.
