Career overview
Alessio was one of Italy’s strongest junior prospects across road and track, winning the junior world team pursuit title in 2019 after European junior team pursuit titles in 2018 and 2019. On the road, she took silver in the junior time-trial at the 2018 World Championships in Innsbruck and later finished 4th in the junior time-trial at the 2019 Worlds. Her best elite road result came in 2020 with BePink, when she finished 8th overall and won the young rider classification at the Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l’Ardèche. Alessio later raced for Ceratizit-WNT Pro Cycling in 2022 before retiring at the end of that season.
