FDJ-SUEZ has confirmed the signing of Lauren Dickson, the 25-year-old Scottish rider, who will step up to the WorldTour in 2026 after a standout year with Handsling Alba Development Road Team.
Dickson only transitioned to cycling in 2024 after a sporting career in trail running and triathlon, but her rise has been rapid. In 2025, she claimed victory at the Lincoln International GP and podium finishes at both the Pointe du Raz Ladies Classic and the Tour of Norway, where she was third on the final stage into Stavanger. She also placed highly in the British national championships, taking 5th in the road race and 7th in the time trial.
โI am very excited and honoured to be turning professional with FDJ-SUEZ for the next two seasons,โ said Dickson. โI really admire their racing style, team spirit and professionalism. Combined with their investment in performance development and their ambitions, it is the ideal place to continue learning and progressing while giving my best for our leaders.โ
Her rapid development has impressed FDJ-SUEZ general manager Stephen Delcourt, who sees Dickson as a unique addition to the roster. โHaving only started cycling in 2024, she impressed us right from the start of the season. Our initial discussions have been very constructive, and her determination to wear our colours was a decisive factor. She doesnโt fit the traditional profile, and thatโs what makes this challenge all the more exciting and inspiring.โ
Dicksonโs signing underlines FDJ-SUEZโs commitment to backing emerging talent. With wins already at UCI level and strong performances across one-day and stage races, she arrives as a rider with significant scope to grow into the WorldTour peloton.
