Amandine Fouquenet: “A special flavour”

1st in the French Cyclo-cross Cup

“I am happy to win the final general classification of the Coupe de France cyclo-cross, on the other hand, I am a little disappointed with the two third places here in Troyes, but Line [Burquier] is strong, I was in the fight with Marion Norbert-Riberolle, but I also know that I am coming out of a week which was a little harder than the others in training. I am not disappointed with the result, I still have my goal in mind and I will not give up.”

โ€œI’m happy to win the Coupe de France even more with the French Champion jersey on my shoulders. This trophy changed format this winter with two events to compete: Saturday and Sunday which causes more fatigue than in the past. It’s harder than the other years, with eight events in total. It’s really physical, but I hope to benefit from it for the seasons to come, and especially already in view of the road season 2022″.
