Reigning French cyclo-cross champion, Amandine Fouquenet once again made the Grand-Slam in the Coupe de France.

On the line

« It is happiness ! I’m happy to be able to win two rounds of the Coupe de France twice in a row, the first was at Quelneuc and now Bagnoles de l’Orne. The race today was more difficult, and my competitors took turns behind me when I was alone in front, it was between them and me a one-on-two match! But since I knew the tactics they were going to use, I took the time to breathe a bit, I put myself in second place. I let them run their course, they took turns attacking each other, and in the penultimate pass I took the option of countering their attacks. And I impose myself. I will now follow up with World Cup races in Belgium, Kokside, and Besançon and then it will be Troyes and then again a programme on the World Cups ».
