Career overview

Neben has had one of the longest and most successful time-trial careers in women’s cycling, winning the world time-trial title in 2008 and again in 2016. She also won the United States national road race title in 2003 and 2017, plus national time-trial titles in 2012, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Her stage-race record includes overall victories at the Tour de l’Aude, Route de France Féminine and Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l’Ardèche. Neben also represented the United States at the Olympic Games in 2008, 2012 and 2021, finishing 5th in the Tokyo Olympic time-trial at the age of 46.
