Career overview

Sierra has been Cuba’s leading women’s road rider of the modern era, combining sprint speed, endurance and one-day race craft. She moved from the Centre Mondial du Cyclisme into the European peloton with Astana, later racing for A.R. Monex before joining Movistar Team in 2022. Her major wins include the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, Tour of Guangxi, Navarra Women’s Elite Classic and stages at races such as the Tour of California and Vuelta a Andalucía. Sierra has also been a multiple Pan-American champion and a repeated Cuban national road race and time-trial champion, remaining with Movistar Team through 2026.
