Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio has confirmed she will stay with AG Insurance-Soudal until 2026, extending her current contract for two more years. The rider said she was excited to continue with the team, describing the decision as an important step after a tough season.

“Extending my contract with AG Insurance-Soudal means so much to me. It’s about loyalty, trust, and a shared vision for the future. It’s truly an honour, and I feel incredibly grateful to continue representing the team I love,” Moolman-Pasio said. She also mentioned that the team felt like family, which had helped her stay motivated during her recovery from illness and injury.

Moolman-Pasio shared that discussions about her contract had started last December during a training camp. “The idea of continuing with the team actually started back in December last year during training camp, so while it might come as a surprise to some, it feels very natural to me.”

Despite her health setbacks, the South African rider has kept a close eye on the team’s progress, crediting the backing from AG Insurance and other sponsors for giving her renewed energy.

Looking to the future, she plans to take on more of a leadership role, offering guidance to younger riders as they develop. “Over the next two years, my aim is not only to achieve great results and personal growth but also to help foster a positive team culture, reach new milestones, and make a meaningful impact in our community.”

Moolman-Pasio remains focused on the Tour de France Femmes, where she hopes to lead the team to success. “Pursuing the Tour de France Femmes remains one of my biggest goals for the next two seasons. Using my experience to guide and nurture the younger talent on the team is something that truly motivates me as I continue my career.”

Her continued leadership and experience are expected to play a key role in shaping AG Insurance-Soudal’s ambitions over the next two years.
