Liv AlUla Jayco has announced the extension of contracts for four of its key riders. Australia’s Georgia Baker and Amber Pate, Swedish cyclist Caroline Andersson, and Italy’s Anna Trevisi will all continue with the team into the 2025 season, with Baker, Pate, and Andersson signing on for two more years.

Georgia Baker: balancing road and track

Georgia Baker, a former Commonwealth Games champion, is extending her stay with Liv AlUla Jayco after another year of solid performances. Baker, who has been balancing her road cycling commitments with her role in the Olympic track programme, has had several close calls in 2024, including a second-place finish at La Vuelta Femenina.

The 30-year-old rider expressed her excitement about the renewal, saying, “I’m really happy to be extending my contract with the team. I’ve felt at home riding here over the past three years. I’ve been involved in some great team success and I’ve also been fortunate to be given opportunities myself. I’m looking forward to taking another step next year and targeting the cobbled classics.”

Amber Pate: continuing a steep learning curve

Amber Pate, who transitioned to road cycling in 2022, has also re-signed for the next two years. The 29-year-old Australian has quickly adapted to the pro peloton, having completed two editions of the Tour de France Femme avec Zwift. Pate has been a reliable presence in the team, always working hard for her teammates while honing her own skills.

“I am so happy to be staying with the team,” said Pate. “They have provided a wonderful environment for my first two years in the sport, and I feel that it is the perfect choice to remain to continue my progression. I still have huge growth capacity physically and tactically, and the team have provided the environment, support, and patience for me to develop.”

Pate is aiming to make her mark in the one-day races, focusing on punchy courses and reduced bunch finals.

Caroline Andersson: settling in with Liv AlUla Jayco

Sweden’s Caroline Andersson, who joined the team in January 2024 following the merger with Liv Racing TeqFind, has also signed a new two-year contract. The 23-year-old has consistently performed well, becoming a valuable teammate throughout the season. Andersson is excited to keep developing with the squad.

“I’m happy to stay with the team because I really feel like I’m at home,” she said. “We have a really nice group of girls, and we also have a really good support team around us. What is special about this team is that I feel like we are close, it feels like a family, it doesn’t feel like we’re just a group of professionals.”

Anna Trevisi: bringing experience to the team

Italian rider Anna Trevisi, now heading into her 14th professional season, has signed a one-year extension to her contract. The 32-year-old has been an important figure in mentoring younger riders during 2024, often taking on the role of road captain. Trevisi plans to continue using her wealth of experience to support the team’s goals in 2025.

“I am very happy to stay with Liv AlUla Jayco because this is a really good team and I feel like I have found my place,” said Trevisi. “It is a special team and I feel very well treated. It is very professional and the team is always researching and trying to improve but at the same time never forgetting that we are people, and we always help each other.”
