The team backs me 100%, which gives me the confidence to believe in myself,” she added. Cromwell’s role as road captain
Tiffany Cromwell, who has been with Canyon SRAM since its formation in 2016, continues to play a pivotal role in guiding the team, particularly through her responsibilities as road captain. Cromwell has transitioned into this role following the departure of Trixi Worrack at the end of 2018, focusing on developing younger riders and sharing her wealth of experience. Commenting on her contract extension, Cromwell shared, “It was a relatively easy decision to extend my contract with Canyon SRAM Racing. I had considered continuing in the sport or stopping at the end of this year. In the end, we decided to go for one more year.”
Cromwell has also been a prominent figure in gravel racing, where she has enjoyed success while balancing her commitments on the road. She acknowledged the challenges of managing both disciplines but highlighted the team’s support in aligning her calendar. “It’s a balancing act managing my gravel and road programmes, but we’re getting the two programmes aligned better with every season,” she explained. Looking ahead to 2025, Cromwell aims to secure more gravel victories while continuing to support her teammates on the road, ensuring that she finishes her career with no regrets.
