Canadian champion Alison Jackson extends contract with Liv Racing

Alison Jackson, who will start Saturday’s first ever Paris-Roubaix for women, has extended her contract with Liv Racing for one year. After Jeanne Korevaar and Sabrina Stultiens, she is the next rider to stay on with the team. Earlier it was announced that Giorgia Bronzini and Wim Stroetinga will be part of the sports management team next season.

“I am very happy to have extended my contract with Liv Racing. It was a good fit, straight away when I came on the team at the beginning of the year. I have had a lot of fun with the riders. And it is very pleasant and easy to work with the team management. They do everything to make me as successful as possible. I feel that I fit in well with the team. And of course the attractive way of racing suits me”, says Alison Jackson.

“The spring with the team was very good. And the second part of the season has been more than fine, with two Canadian titles and a stage win in the Simac Ladies Tour. It is clear that Liv Racing is a good environment for me. I believe that a happy heart helps the legs feel a little bit stronger. The season isn’t over yet, but I’m already looking forward to riding with the team next year and building on what we have now to accomplish more goals in 2022.”

New outfit

Jackson will start in Paris-Roubaix on Saturday in a new outfit. Clothing partner Cuore has designed a customized kit in red and white especially for her. On it there is room for the famous Maple Leaf which adorns the flag of Canada. Jackson won the Canadian time trial championship in September and took the road title a few days later.
