FDJ-SUEZ has announced the signing of Italian cyclist Alessia Vigilia, who will be part of their team until the end of the 2025 season. Alessia, 23, is known for her strong performances in time trials and her attacking style. She won a silver medal at the World and European Junior Time Trial Championships in 2017 and achieved other great results, including victory at the Umag Trophy Ladies and a 3rd place finish at the Tour de Brittany in 2023.

Alessia expressed her feelings about joining the team, saying, “I am extremely proud to join this team which I have always considered to be one of the strongest in the peloton! I can’t wait to start this new chapter of my life because I know it’s a great opportunity for me.”

The team’s General Manager, Stephen Delcourt, shared his excitement about Alessia’s arrival: “The arrival of Alessia VIGILIA, for the next two seasons, is a great delight to us. With her attacking temperament and her remarkable skills in time trials, she is a great asset to our team. We are convinced that she will bring an extra dimension to our group and help us reach new heights.”

Alessia will be joining fellow Italians Vittoria Guazzini and Marta Cavalli on the team. Delcourt added, “We are convinced that these three Italian talents will strongly contribute to our future success.”
