NamedSport’s hazelnut and chocolate protein cookies recipe:
I got a nice delivery from NamedSport a few weeks ago with lots of goodies and even some recipes to try! I finally got round to making these really tasty hazelnut and chocolate protein cookies. Protein is of course really important for recovery so these are the perfect post-ride or gym session treat. Follow the recipe and try them yourself!
Ingredients:
- 50g 100% Whey Protein Shake Hazelnut Flavour
- 36g oat flakes
- 36g hazelnuts
- 40g cane sugar
- 30g egg white (albumen)
- 60g peanut butter
- 40g rice milk
- 40g chocolate “drops”
- 2g vanilla yeast
Instructions:
- Blend the oat flakes with the hazelnuts to make a flour, then add the vanilla yeast and the 100% Whey Protein Shake
- In a separate bowl, mix the peanut butter with brown sugar and once well mixed, add rice milk while continuing to stir well
- Add the flour mixture and the egg white to the dough, mixing together
- Add the chocolate drops at the end
- With the dough made, use a little bit of flour and form a cylinder and then wrap it in baking paper
- Let the cylinder cool in the freezer for about one hour so that it can then be cut into slices
- Place the slices, lightly crushing them to give shape, on the baking paper placed on the baking tray. Now they are ready for cooking!
- Bake at 170° for 10-12 minutes
