Career overview

Williams has been one of New Zealand’s most reliable modern road riders, combining time-trial strength, climbing support and track endurance background. She won the New Zealand national road race title in 2018, 2023 and 2024, and the national time-trial title in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2023. Earlier in her career, she was part of New Zealand’s track programme, winning Commonwealth Games team pursuit silver in 2014 and bronze in 2018. Williams joined the GreenEDGE structure in 2017 and became a long-serving part of the squad, racing the Giro d’Italia Women, Tour de France Femmes, La Vuelta Femenina and major one-day races while supporting leaders and taking her own chances in national championships.
