“The results sheet shows three top 10s. The riders had a lot of fun in this event which was in a way for us a pool of experimentation with a work of different tactics put in place, we tried to take escapes on the flat, in the mountains. We tried to build the construction of a sprint with female sprinters, we changed the tactics for the sprint on a second stage, the girls worked to protect Amandine. Many things have been put in place for this race that will serve us to lay the foundations for next season and others to come. It’s that positive for us. The girls have taken instinctive steps. Amandine ranks 2nd best young rider, she’s 22th overall in this event, Sandra is 18th in a race that was dominated by teams from the World Tour. The level this year was very high on this International Women’s Tour of the Ardèche. What the team has been able to achieve here is very encouraging for the future, we have interesting things in place for the future for the purpose of learning and progress”.
