Human Powered Health unveil new 2026 jersey

Human Powered Health have revealed their new team jersey for the 2026 season, marking the start of a fresh technical partnership with Verge Sport and a clear evolution of the team’s visual identity.

The new kit will make its race debut at the Santos Tour Down Under on 17 January, continuing the team’s distinctive warm-to-cool colour gradient while introducing a new visual texture named Tailwind. The concept is designed to convey speed, motion, and forward momentum, both aesthetically and technically.

At the centre of the jersey sits the Human Powered Health logo, supported by Verge, HumanGO, Wahoo, and long-term backer Kelly Benefits across the upper chest. Equipment partners Black Inc and Factor Bikes are featured on the sleeves, maintaining a clean but unmistakable WorldTour look.

Ro De Jonckere, General Manager of Human Powered Health, described the partnership as a step forward for the programme.

“Partnering with Verge Sport marks an exciting step forward for our program,” she said. “Their commitment to innovation and performance aligns perfectly with our own ambitions. The 2026 kit elevates performance with world-class technology and strengthens the identity that defines Human Powered Health.”

Tailwind design built around speed and performance

While the gradient remains central to the team’s branding and Pillars of Performance, the new Tailwind overlay introduces a flowing, wind-inspired texture across the jersey.

Creative Director Sam Wiebe explained the thinking behind the design.

“The concept came from the idea of having the wind at our backs as we look ahead to a new season and new goals,” Wiebe said. “We wanted to visualise wind, motion and momentum while maintaining our trademark gradient. The Tailwind texture adds that extra layer of speed and direction.”

Beyond visuals, the 2026 kit has been shaped by extensive rider input. Verge Sport were present at the Wellesley Performance Lab in October and again at the team’s recent training camp in Spain, carrying out individual fittings to refine cut, fabric choice, and aerodynamics.

“They are really invested in getting the best individual fit for our riders,” De Jonckere added. “Meeting with them at our testing camp in Boston and again in Spain showed their commitment to tailoring performance at the highest level.”

WorldTour-level technology, rider-specific fit

Verge Sport founder Michael Magur underlined that the partnership goes well beyond design.

“This is a world-class program with values that mirror our own – progress, innovation, and elevating women’s cycling on the global stage,” Magur said. “To see our apparel supporting these athletes in the Women’s WorldTour is both an honour and a milestone for Verge.”

The new kit uses Verge’s fastest fabrics, wind-tunnel-tested panel layouts, and rider-specific tailoring. Aerodynamic woven sleeves, cooling-engineered materials, and refined shaping are all aimed at delivering measurable performance gains.

“Our goal is simple: give every rider an immediate competitive advantage,” Magur explained. “This is the same technology Verge athletes have relied on to win Tour de France stages and Olympic gold medals.”

Bringing fans closer to the team

The partnership will also extend beyond racing. Verge and Human Powered Health plan to release behind-the-scenes content throughout the season, alongside athlete-led insights and fan activations tied to major races. Official team kit giveaways and contests are also planned.

“This partnership allows us to bring fans closer to the team than ever before,” Magur said. “Together, we want to grow the sport and make supporters feel part of the journey.”

The 2026 Human Powered Health kit will be available through Verge Sport’s men’s and women’s collections, with the new Tailwind design set to become a defining visual of the team’s next WorldTour chapter.
