India, 12th in the Vuelta CV Féminas

It was during the Vuelta CV Féminas (UCI 1.1) that the team chose to start its season. The peloton reached Valence very quickly from a profile devoid of any real difficulty, and an average speed of more than 41 km/h, so it was in the sprint that victory was decided.

Encouring Beginnings!

Today’s goal was to play for the sprint victory with our sprinter Arianna Pruisscher. The team therefore worked ahead of the sprint to stay in the peloton before the final finish. However, this was not the collective’s only weapon. Indeed, India Grangier was able to do well by taking 12th place in the bunch sprint which was marked by a spectacular fall in the last few hundred meters. Arianna was unfortunately hampered by a wave in the sprint and nevertheless took a 19th place.

Au classement

  • 12th India Grangier
  • 19th Arianna Pruisscher
  • 27th Severine Eraud
  • 28th Natalie Grinczer
  • 62nd Noémie Abgrall
  • 82nd Maeva Squiban (suffered a mechanical problem in the last 10 km)

Head to Turkey
