Kasia Niewiadoma has committed her future to Canyon SRAM, signing a contract extension that will see her remain with the team until 2026. The Polish rider, known for her aggressive and dynamic racing style, first joined the team in 2018 and has since become one of its standout performers.
Niewiadoma’s achievements include securing the polka dot jersey and twice reaching the General Classification podium at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, as well as a victory at the Flèche Wallonne. Her impressive list of podium finishes continues to grow, earning her a strong following among cycling fans worldwide.
Canyon SRAM Team Manager Ronny Lauke praised Niewiadoma, saying, “Kasia has achieved the most significant results for the team. She has won hearts while racing with an open visor and her own heart on her sleeve. She comes to races always well prepared and with a never-give-up attitude. We love working with Kasia and are thrilled to continue supporting her.”
Niewiadoma herself expressed her happiness with the extension, stating, “I decided to stay with Canyon SRAM because that decision only made me feel deep happiness. Of course, I considered other options, but it never felt entirely right, and I could not remain at peace with myself. I feel enormous support coming from the team of Canyon SRAM when things go well and when they don’t. I can fully be myself; I feel accepted, understood and motivated to embrace my position as one of the team leaders and as a rider who can share my knowledge with the youngsters.”
Reflecting on her journey with the team, Niewiadoma added, “I’ve already spent quite some years on this team and am part of a project that wants to reach the top position. We have learnt so much about each other in the last couple of years, and I want to continue being part of the change that will lead us to multiple victories in the biggest races on our calendar! I believe in the strength of the riders and the hard work of all the staff members that allow us to make progress!”
Looking ahead, Niewiadoma shared her ambitious goals, saying, “We dream big together. We want to bring a yellow jersey home, to win Strade Bianche and the Tour of Flanders. I want to wear a rainbow jersey, not only on the gravel. I believe with Canyon SRAM, it’s all possible.”
