Klimova and Novolodskaya win silver medal in European Track Championships

The Russian cyclists from Cogeas Mettler Look, Diana Klimova and María Novolodskaya, won the silver medal, accumulating 51 points in the Madison event of the XI European Track Championships, held from November 11 to 15 in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv. The test was a true sprinter battle for points between the gold medal-winning pair, the duo made up of Italians Elisa Bálsamo and Vittoria Guazzini achieved 52 points, beating the Russians from Cogeas Mettler Look by just one point difference. Laura Ken and Elinor Barl were third with 38 points.

Likewise, the Russian rider María Novolodskaya, from our team Cogeas Mettler Look, won the bronze medal, totalling 114 points in the Omnium test of the XI European Track Championship. The winner of the event was the Italian Elisa Bálsamo with 135 points, and in second place the British Laura Kenny who achieved 126 points.

The tests of the Track modality of the European championship were held at the Kolodrum velodrome, in the city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Congratulations to our riders Diana Klimova and María Novolodskaya for their triumphs!
