Lea Lin Teutenberg will join REMBE | rad-net Women for 2027, becoming the German Continental team’s first announced new rider for next season. The 27-year-old moves from Lotto-Intermarché Ladies, bringing years of international road racing and a track record that includes two European Championship medals in the elimination race.
REMBE | rad-net announced the signing on Monday, 2 November, describing Teutenberg as “a track specialist and experienced road pro”. The team has not disclosed the length of her agreement or a race programme for 2027.
European track medallist joins German Continental squad
Teutenberg’s strongest results have come on the track, particularly in endurance events. She won silver in the elimination race at the 2024 European Championships and returned to the podium with bronze in the same discipline at the 2026 championships in Konya, finishing behind Lotte Kopecky and Victoire Berteau.
She also finished fifth in the Madison and seventh in the omnium at the 2026 European Championships. At October’s Track World Championships, she placed seventh in the elimination race and eighth in the scratch race, underlining the experience she can bring to a team developing its programme across road and track racing.
The German has won multiple national track titles and comes from one of cycling’s best-known families. Her father Lars and aunt Ina-Yoko Teutenberg both raced professionally, while her brother Tim Torn Teutenberg has established himself on the road and track.
Road experience after two seasons at Lotto-Intermarché
Teutenberg spent seven seasons with the WNT and Ceratizit-WNT organisation between 2018 and 2024 before joining Lotto Ladies in 2025. She remained with the team in 2026 following its move into the Women’s ProTeam ranks under the Lotto-Intermarché Ladies name.
Her road programme has included the Tour de France Femmes, La Vuelta Femenina and northern European one-day races. In 2026 she finished 19th at the Ronde van Brugge, 15th at the Argenta Classic and 16th at Kortrijk Koerse. These were not headline victories, but reflect the experience she has accumulated in professional fields where much of her work has been in support of teammates.
Her arrival gives REMBE | rad-net a rider accustomed to the demands of international professional racing, while allowing Teutenberg to continue balancing road competition with her track ambitions.
REMBE | rad-net builds on its first women’s Continental season
The German organisation established its women’s Continental team for 2026, with Olympic and world track champion Franziska Brauße among the founding signings. Bringing in Teutenberg adds another experienced track endurance rider as the team prepares for its second season.
The announcement makes her the first new addition named for 2027, rather than confirming the full squad. REMBE | rad-net has not yet provided a complete roster or indicated how Teutenberg will divide her racing between the road and velodrome next year.
