The Lifeplus-Wahoo team’s Ribble bikes will get a makeover in time for this year’s Tour de France Femmes. The British team will go very much back to their roots with a light blue from previous years at the front and pink at the rear of the frames. The Ribble Endurance SL R CustomColour Team bike will debut this week at the Baloise Ladies Tour (race preview here) by riders like Ella Wyllie, Typhaine Laurance, April Tacey and Margaux Vigie, and then be used at the Tour de France Femmes in 2 weeks’ time.
Officially the pink and blue colours are known as ‘Radish Blossoms’ and ‘Clear Skies’ with the odd bit of green known as ‘Evergreen’, all of which fit the team’s colours. The top tube features the Lifeplus-Wahoo team motto of #ColourTheRoad.
The partnership between Ribble Cycles and Lifeplus-Wahoo now goes back 3 seasons. They both have ‘the shared ethos of creating a happy and supportive environment where riders can develop and reach their true potential – racing their bikes to empower and inspire others at the highest level and on a world stage’.
The Lifeplus-Wahoo team uses the Ribble Endurance SL R Disc, which features:
advanced superlight carbon construction, combined with aero optimisation, gives it a stiffness-to-aero-to-weight ratio that makes it searingly fast when climbing or sprinting for victoryย and perfect for competing in the worldโs biggest and most demanding Womenโs stage race
Fans of the team’s colourway can order their own version at Ribble Cycles.
