The Trofeo Binissalem-Andratx is the final race of the Women’s Challenge Mallorca trio of races set to take place this long weekend. The Challenge Mallorca races are more of a group of individual one-day races that are connected only by the organisation running them. Teams are free to select a squad and then pick and choose which riders start each race day, plus there is no general classification to worry about. All in all, it’s a chance to get 3 wins in the books and test the early season legs for the riders. Today’s Benissalem-Andratx finished in a small group sprint last year but there’s a different finish line this year. It’s much more of a climb, with plenty of double-digit gradients involved.
