Lotte Kopecky Commits to SD Worx-Protime: World Champion Extends Contract until 2028

World champion Lotte Kopecky has reaffirmed her allegiance to Team SD Worx-Protime by extending her contract through to the end of 2028. Amidst speculation surrounding her future, the Belgian rider opted to remain with the team, citing her satisfaction with the team environment and the opportunity for personal growth.

Expressing her delight at the contract extension, Kopecky emphasised her positive experience within the team, highlighting the supportive atmosphere and the freedom to perform without compromising personal values. She underlined her decision as a natural progression, reflecting on the significant milestones achieved during her tenure with Team SD Worx-Protime, including winning the recent UAE Tour Women.

Team manager Erwin Janssen expressed his satisfaction with securing Kopecky’s services for the long term, praising her as a pivotal figure in elevating women’s cycling, particularly in Belgium.
