After racing and finishing 2nd at Nacht van Woerden last week, the cyclocross World Champion Marianne Vos will continue her 2022/2023 World Cup campaign in Beekse Bergen. The race organisation has confirmed her entry today. Vos will race her first World Cup race this weekend at Maasmechelen and then the European Championships in Namur too.
This is a new cross on the calendar, so the route is unknown to everyone. I am looking forward to this race. World Cup competitions in the Netherlands are extra special. Especially now that I can start in the rainbow jersey.
There are only important race coming up now. I think I’m conditionally ready. I’ve seen that you really have to be at your very best level to be able to compete for the win. The level is very high not only among the first, but also just behind them.”
