French rider Pauline Ferrand-Prévot has made public her race plans for December 2022. She’s already taken part in two cyclocross races this season, including the Koppenbergcross which saw her finish on foot after a number of issues with her chain. She was 6th in the European Championships at Namur. The 2015 World Champion is looking to add another cyclocross rainbow jersey to her amazing collection of 4 world championship jerseys this year. She will have stiff competition but it is a target nonetheless.

ToggleHer 2022 calendar gains some legs by participating in 6 races this December. The first pair will be in the opening weekend at Boom and Antwerp, before heading to Dublin for the first World Cup event in Ireland. The reduced field there should help her score a solid result and get more ranking points for a better grid position. Finally, she will race 3 times in 3 days just after Christmas, with the first on Boxing Day in Gavere before heading to Zolder and Diegem. Pauline Ferrand-Prévot has no designs on the series classifications but all of these races are a build-up in form towards the World Championships in Hoogerheide on February 4th 2023.
