Career overview
Schoens progressed through Watersley Race & Development CT before joining Parkhotel Valkenburg for 2022. She finished ninth at Tre Valli Varesine that season and stepped forward in 2023 with second at Kreiz Breizh Elites Féminin, fourth overall at Trofeo Ponente in Rosa and 20th at the Simac Ladies Tour. Schoens remained with the organisation through its transition to VolkerWessels and claimed her first UCI victory at the 2025 Mirabelle Classic. She made another significant advance as a stage racer in 2026, finishing sixth overall at the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya Femenina and eighth at the Tour Féminin International des Pyrénées. Schoens also completed the Tour de France Femmes for the first time, finishing 66th overall.
