RCS Sport has announced the teams set to take part in the 2025 edition of Sanremo Women, with 24 squads named across three tiers of competition. The race, which was rebooted last year, is expected to follow a similar route to 2024, starting in Genoa and covering around 150km before tackling the Cipressa and Poggio ahead of the finish in Sanremo.

ToggleThe field includes all 15 UCI Women’s WorldTeams, ensuring a high level of competition. Reigning champions Team SD Worx-Protime will return to defend their title, while Lidl-Trek, UAE Team ADQ, and Movistar Team are also expected to be key contenders. With the challenging terrain and an unpredictable run-in, riders from these top teams will likely be at the sharp end when the race hits the Cipressa and Poggio.
Four UCI Women’s ProTeams have been invited, including EF Education-Oatly and the Cofidis Women Team, both of whom have been active in aggressive racing early this season. The five Continental teams completing the lineup will look to seize opportunities to make an impact on the race, particularly in the early breakaway or by positioning riders well for the final climbs.
