EF Education-Oatly confirmed that Sarah Roy will bring the curtain down on her professional career at the end of the season, with the Simac Tour in the Netherlands set to be her final race.

Sarah Roy

The 38-year-old Australian has spent more than a decade in the peloton, racing for a string of top-level teams and collecting eight career victories, including two at the Womenโ€™s WorldTour level. Her biggest wins came at the Tour of Britain, where she claimed stage victories in both 2017 and 2018.

Roy also wore her national colours with pride, winning the Australian road race title in 2021 after years of near misses. That triumph was one of the defining moments of her career, showcasing her sprinting strength and tactical nous on home roads.
