Sarah Roy (Retired)
Sarah Roy is a retired Australian professional cyclist who specialised in one-day races and demanding sprint finishes. A former Australian road race champion and Commonwealth Games medallist, she spent more than a decade in the professional peloton and became a respected road captain alongside achieving eight career victories.

Career overview
Roy took her first professional victory at the 2016 Boels Rental Ladies Tour before winning stages of the Women’s Tour in both 2017 and 2018. Her other major successes included Gooik-Geraardsbergen-Gooik in 2018, Clásica Femenina Navarra in 2019 and the Australian road race championship in 2021. She won bronze in the road race at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and helped Australia take bronze in the mixed relay at the World Championships later that year. After spells with Canyon SRAM and Cofidis, Roy joined EF Education-Oatly for her final season in 2025. She retired after the Simac Ladies Tour in September, ending a 13-year professional career.
