It’s cobble time again! This time in the brand-new GP Oetingen in Belgium. Great to see that the organisation is able to let us race in these hard and difficult times.
The start will be at 13:30 for a race over 117.5 kilometres with some cobblestone sections.
Our line-up includes Karol-Ann Canuel, Jolien d’Hoore, Christine Majerus, Amy Pieters and Roxane Fournier. The successful line-up of the last edition of the Healthy Ageing Tour, where they were able to win two stages.
Lonneke Uneken, who won the last stage of the Healthy Ageing Tour after an impressive solo, looks ahead: “We just came back from a recon of the circuit. With the predicted windy conditions, it will be a beautiful and open race where a lot can happen. After the 2 stage wins in the Healthy Ageing Tour last week, we stand as a team. We have a strong line-up and can play out different scenarios, like we did last Friday. My compliments for the organisation to make this race possible. We need to be happy and grateful to race again!”.
