Simone Boilard joins our Women’s team

Among the best in the world for Juniors, the Canadian Simone Boilard (Team Macadam’s Cowboys – N2) is not lacking in references: 3rd on the road and 5th in the CLM of the world juniors 2018, Canadian Champion of the CLM the same year … she had joined in 2019 the American UCI team Sho – Air TWENTY20 before having to put the bike on hold in the face of health problems. Back on the road in August 2021 under the colors of Team Macadam Cowboys and Team Canada, she quickly showed that she will have to be reckoned with. She will be a reinforcement of choice for the team in 2022.

Simone Boilard : «I had the iliac artery surgery last December, and got sepsis in June … so I was only able to start pedaling again in July. I am super happy to join the St Michel-Auber93 team for the 2022 season. It will be an honour for me to run under the colors of a major team well established in France for more than 60 years… I can’t wait to join the workforce. With women’s cycling growing more and more and obtaining UCI status for the team, the Madeleines can dream big!»

Charlotte Bravard, DS of the women’s team : « Simone was one of the best juniors in 2018, especially on the road to the world championships. After health concerns, she resumed training this summer and she has already shown beautiful things. She is happy to be able to join the team, to race in Europe, it will be a good year for her to progress, with her “go anywhere” profile! »

Welcome Simone !
