A full course

For the 11 riders* in the squad, the objective will be to rack up the miles in the sun and take advantage of this beautiful Spanish weather in order to improve their physical level after months of winter preparation. It will also be an opportunity to put on the new NORET jerseys and get on their new TIME bikes where the last small adjustments will be made.

Around the girls, a substantial staff will be present on site to put them in optimal conditions. There will be sports directors and coaches, as well as a dietician and massage assistants to optimise preparation and recovery between training sessions.

*Frances JANSE VAN RENSBURG is still in South Africa and will return to Europe after her national championship on February 14.

A dense programme

This will be the last big block of intensity and work before the first race on Sunday February 6th. On the training side, the girls will complete two blocks of 3 days interspersed with a day of rest. The opportunity to make a reminder of intensity where the sessions will be adapted according to the objectives and characteristics of each, whether it is the rollers, climbers or sprinters. The common core will consist of different efforts, sprints as well as exercises and position work on the time trial bike. This discipline will be worked on individually but also as a team. Finally, tests will be carried out to assess the impact of training on physical condition and areas of work.

The objective will be to increase the level of pressure with the first important date being the first race of the season at the Vuelta CV Feminas on February 6.
