The first Alpes Gresivaudan Classic was an epic edition. The pre-race favourite Evita Muzic took the win but it wasn't so simple as that sounds! Eglantine Rayer, who was still a junior back in 2022, pushed Muzic all the way to the finish line. Just 2 seconds behind was the German rider Clara Koppenberg before a larger gap to 4th for Adele Normand.

A very long-running race, the Bretagne Ladies Tour can trace its origins back to 1987 when Cecile Odin won. Since then, it’s always kept a low level but has just started to move up in the last couple of years after a patchy record since 2016. It only held one edition between 2017 and 2021, partly down to Covid but also just general troubles. It’s no longer a 2.2 race either but has reached 2.1 level in 2022.

The Women’s GP de Plumelec-Morbihan has been taking place since 2011, originally as a national-level race but was elevated to the UCI level in 2014. After a season as a 1.2 race, it's been on the calendar ever since as a 1.1, able to attract stars but also keep local teams still able to attend.
